New Rules for Drivers - Effective January 1 2008
In 2008, a new Rule of Golf comes into effect that will 'limit the spring like effect' of drivers for golfers of all ability. Harig: O'Meara made a mark on Kim's game

John Daly said Wednesday he has been suspended for six months by the PGA Tour for conduct that brought unwelcome publicity, including a night in a North Carolina jail to sober up.

Paradise lost: Big names to skip PGA Tour opener
Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson and Padraig Harrington are all skipping the Hawaii stop at Kapalua Resort, ESPN.com's Jason Sobel has learned. Of the 37 eligible participants, 33 are expected to tee it up at Kapalua next week.

New year might see Tiger's hold on No. 1 slip
Tiger Woods has been out of action since having reconstructive knee surgery and might lose his No. 1 ranking in the beginning of 2009.
